SnapTrim

Privacy policy

Effective October 9, 2026. SnapTrim: Photo Cleaner is developed by Peng Lin. Version 1.0 has no accounts, advertising, purchases, analytics or tracking SDKs.

Photos, creation dates, dimensions, favorites and burst identifiers are read only within the access you grant. Similarity uses Apple Vision or an on-device perceptual fingerprint. The developer does not receive, store or sell your photos, image features or photo-library metadata.

Recognition caches, photo identifiers, review choices, ignored items, language preference and operation dates/counts are stored locally. Recognition caches and review state are excluded from system backup. You can clear caches, reset ignored items and clear history in the app. Uninstalling removes app-local data but does not restore deleted photos.

You can revoke or limit Photos access in iOS Settings. Cloud image downloads are optional and handled by Apple's Photos service under Apple's privacy policy. Similar cleanup protects favorites; Date Cleanup includes favorites and requires app and system confirmation. Deletion may sync through iCloud and normally remains recoverable in Recently Deleted for 30 days.

Opening marketing, help or privacy links connects your browser to GitHub Pages, which may process IP addresses and request logs. This website stores only a language preference locally and has no analytics or advertising scripts. If you email support, we receive your email address and message solely to answer your request. Please do not attach private photos.
