Play your way
- Play Solo: practice offline against a computer opponent.
- Pass & Play: two people take turns on one device.
- Nearby Play: two devices running the game can play on the same Wi-Fi. One creates a room; the other finds it, joins, and taps Ready. The host starts the match.
Aim and score
Use the slider to position your striker, drag backward to aim, then release. Drag back to the starting point to cancel. Black and white pieces score 1 point; the queen scores 3. A successful shot gives another turn. Pocketing your striker returns this shot's pieces, costs 1 point (minimum 0) and ends your turn. The higher score wins after all 19 target pieces are cleared. This is a casual points variant, without assigned colors or queen cover.
Nearby connection help
- Connect both devices to the same Wi-Fi and keep the game open.
- Allow Local Network access when prompted. You can enable it in iOS Settings under the game's permissions or Privacy & Security → Local Network.
- Create or find the room again if a player leaves or disconnects.
- Public and guest networks may block communication between devices. Try a trusted home Wi-Fi network.
Nearby Play does not provide internet matchmaking. No login or internet service is needed for solo or shared-device play.
Language, sound and saved games
English is the first-launch default. Open Settings → Language to choose English, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese, Japanese, Korean, Spanish, French, German or Brazilian Portuguese. Sound, haptics and reduced effects are configurable. Offline matches save locally at stable turn boundaries; use Resume from the club. Nearby matches are not saved for reconnection.
Purchases and refunds
The original release (versions through 1.3.0) is a one-time paid download without advertising, subscriptions or in-app purchases. The upcoming 1.4.0 version will be free to download with advertising as described below. Verified purchases from the earlier paid release keep ad-free access; use the restore option in Settings if needed. Refer to the App Store listing for the currently available version and price. Apple handles the App Store transaction. For billing or refund requests, visit Apple's Report a Problem service.
Advertising version 1.4.0
The upcoming update adds a startup ad, menu and room banners, and an optional video reward when you create a room. The reward adds a local room celebration; it does not change scoring. You can decline the video and create a normal room. Offline play and local-network rooms remain available if ads cannot load. Review advertising privacy choices in Settings when the option is available. Earlier versions remain governed by the earlier-version section of our privacy policy.
